Rollup merge of #110419 - jsoref:spelling-library, r=jyn514
Spelling library

Split per https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/110392

I can squash once people are happy w/ the changes. It's really uncommon for large sets of changes to be perfectly acceptable w/o at least some changes.

I probably won't have time to respond until tomorrow or the next day

Add a builtin `FnPtr` trait that is implemented for all function pointers

r? `@ghost`

Rebased version of https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/99531 (plus adjustments mentioned in the PR).

If perf is happy with this version, I would like to land it, even if the diagnostics fix in 9df8e1befb5031a5bf9d8dfe25170620642d3c59 only works for `FnPtr` specifically, and does not generally improve blanket impls.

Stabilize `nonnull_slice_from_raw_parts`

FCP is done: https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/issues/71941#issuecomment-1100910416
Note that this doesn't const-stabilize `NonNull::slice_from_raw_parts` as `slice_from_raw_parts_mut` isn't const-stabilized yet. Given #67456 and #57349, it's not likely available soon, meanwhile, stabilizing only the feature makes some sense, I think.

b2c717fa33 MaybeUninit::assume_init_read should have noundef load metadata
I was looking into `array::IntoIter` optimization, and noticed that it wasn't annotating the loads with `noundef` for simple things like `array::IntoIter<i32, N>`.

Turned out to be a more general problem as `MaybeUninit::assume_init_read` isn't marking the load as initialized (<https://rust.godbolt.org/z/Mxd8TPTnv>), which is unfortunate since that's basically its reason to exist.

This PR lowers `ptr::read(p)` to `copy *p` in MIR, which fortuitiously also improves the IR we give to LLVM for things like `mem::replace`.

Fix the docs for pointer method with_metadata_of

The name of the argument to `{*const T, *mut T}::with_metadata_of` was changed from `val` to `meta` recently, but the docs weren't updated to match.

Rollup merge of #103702 - WaffleLapkin:lift-sized-bounds-from-pointer-methods-where-applicable, r=m-ou-se
Lift `T: Sized` bounds from some `strict_provenance` pointer methods

This PR removes requirement for `T` (pointee type) to be `Sized` to call `pointer::{addr, expose_addr, with_addr, map_addr}`. These functions don't use `T`'s size, so there is no reason for them to require this. Updated public API:

add ptr::from_{ref,mut}

We have methods to avoid almost all `as` casts around raw pointer handling, except for the initial cast from reference to raw pointer. These new methods close that gap.

(I also moved `null_mut` next to `null` to keep the file consistently organized.)

Make some trivial functions `#[inline(always)]`

This is some kind of follow-up of PRs like https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/85218, https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/84061, https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/87150. Functions that do very basic operations are made `#[inline(always)]` to avoid pessimizing them in debug builds when compared to using built-in operations directly.
